Conference Reminders:
Dress Code: Is business casual. The dress for the awards banquet is business attire. The weather in Boston can be unpredictable in March. Check the Weather Channel so you can pack appropriately. Also, hotel meeting rooms can be cold - bring a sweater or jacket so you will be comfortable.
Pre-Conference Sessions:
Transportation from Airport: Boston Logan Airport is 4 miles (15 minutes from the Hilton Boston Back Bay). Take the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA Blue Line) to and from the airport station. Subway Rail in USD is $2.00. Shuttles and taxi's are also available at a higher cost.
New Members' Welcome Reception: If you are new to CEIA or attending for the first time, please join us at 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. This is a great opportunity to meet your colleagues and the leaders of our organization.
Young Professionals Coffee: Are you new to profession? Please join us on Sunday evening after the Opening Reception for the Young Professionals Coffee on Sunday evening from 8 - 10 p.m.
Vegetarian meals: Please let us know in advance. We may not be able to accommodate special requests on site.
Parking: Limited parking on site; several parking lots are located around the hotel. Parking rates at the hotel are: Overnight Guests: $20/day and Drive-in Conference attendees: $15/day.
Things to Do in Boston: With so many exciting places to visit in Boston, it's hard to choose just one. Visit our 2010 Annual Conference page with helpful links on places to go, things to see, and restaurants to visit.
Door Prizes: We encourage you to bring door prizes from your Institution with at least a $20 value. Drop them off at the registration desk.
