There’s lots to do while you’re in San Diego for the CEIA Annual Conference. Our friends at the San Diego Tourism Authority prepared a web page for our conference attendees.
There’s a lot going on before, during and after the conference. Check out the following links:
When you explore the neighborhoods around the conference hotel, scroll down the webpages to view attractions in the area and possible deals.
The Conference Planning Committee and the Local Arrangements Committee have the following activities planned for conference attendees.
Explore the legendary USS Midway Museum – a naval aircraft carrier docked on Navy Pier in downtown San Diego. The Museum offers over 60 exhibits and houses 29 restored aircraft. This historic marvel is easy to get to by following the boardwalk from the CEIA hotel – The Westin San Diego Bayview.
San Diego’s Old Town is chock full of boutiques, restaurants, museums and historic sites. With the Old Town Trolley tours you can go at your own pace and hop on and off to explore all of the attractions of this fascinating district.
San Diego is a hot destination for foodies from across North America. Whether you want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine, check out the craft beer and gastro-pubs or take in the vast array of seafood restaurants, San Diego has so much to offer. For your convenience, group dinners will have sign-up at the registration desk at three San Diego restaurants. Join one of these group dinners to meet new colleagues while enjoying a delicious meal together. Each dinner group will meet in the lobby of the Westin at 6:30 PM to walk to their 7:00 PM reservation.
