In 2011, CEIA created an initiative to establish a fund to assist student award recipients with expenses to attend the annual conference banquet so they could be recognized for their accomplishments. The initial appeal was made to our Honorary Lifetime Members and the CEIA Board of Directors, with seven donors helping establish the fund.
