Experience Magazine features best practice highlights, field trends, how-to articles and relevant information and resources for practitioners in the field of cooperative education and internships. The audience for this publication reflects the diverse membership of CEIA and includes professionals from various regions of the US and Canada who are involved in cooperative education and internships at 2 or 4 year educational institutions. Additionally, there are a number of employer members.

We want to hear from you! The success of this publication hinges on professionals’ willingness to share best practices and resources with one another. If you have suggestions/ideas or if you’ve written an article which may be appropriate for this publication, please contact us!

General Article Submission Information

 

 

Deadline for Fall Issue-Educator: August 1

Deadline for Spring Issue-Employer: February 1

Articles should be submitted electronically in MS Word to Michelle Clare, Editor

The editor will review all submitted articles and make the decision as to whether or not to include submitted articles in the publication based on the following:
  1. Extent to which the article subject relates to the established theme of each issue
  2. Extent to which the article subject appeals to co-op and internship practitioners
  3. Extent to which the article subject provides relevant, useful information/resources to practitioners
  4. Timeliness of the topic/subject

Please note: All submitted articles will be edited for content, grammar and will be edited to fit the space allotted.

Two issues of Experience Magazine are published each year. The Educator Issue is published each fall. The Employer Issue is published each spring.
