Hendrix College invites nominations and applications for the role of Executive Director of Career Success. Hendrix seeks a strategic relationship builder and astute team leader to transform the student and alumni career services model to serve the needs of constituents in a rapidly changing global environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable leading change, creating novel approaches to work, and moving quickly in an industry where speed is not the norm. Hendrix College is poised once again to lead in its sector nationally, and we seek someone who is willing to work with a cross-functional team to transform the student experience.
Reporting to the Vice Provost for Student Formation, a new position in the Provost’s Office, the Executive Director will serve as a strategic bridge between the business and non-profit sector and higher education, ensuring that Hendrix students have meaningful, career-shaping co-op experiences while strengthening the College’s visibility and impact within the regional and national business community. This role requires an individual who fluently understands both the corporate world and the higher education ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings experience navigating complex organizational structures, an understanding of workforce needs and economic trends, and a deep appreciation for the mission-driven culture of a liberal arts institution.

The Career Technology & Assessment Specialist advances the Center’s mission by leveraging data and technology to enhance experiential learning and career readiness outcomes. This role ensures evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and innovative technology solutions that support student success. The Assistant Director of Assessment and Technology will lead data-driven initiatives to evaluate the impact of experiential learning and career success programs. This role oversees assessment strategies technology integration, and reporting systems to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with institutional goals. The position collaborates with faculty, staff and external partners to enhance student outcomes through innovative tools and evidence-based practices. This is a new position reporting directly to the Executive Director, Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success.
